Live Better: Not Just a Walk in the Park: The Science Behind Walking for Fun and Fitness In-Person / Online
Join Live Better for a lecture aimed on the latest research behind the many benefits of walking, and their relationship to national and international guidelines for health and fitness. The lecture includes practical tips for building a regular walking routine even for those struggling with limited mobility, and links to resources for identifying paths and trails around Kennett. The lecture draws from our Fresh Air Self Care FOR ALL PROGRAM initiative designed to train caregivers and professionals to help people with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) or autism enjoy regular walks in nature. Presented by Kennett Outdoors.
