A New Era in Astronomy: The James Webb Telescope; Observations and Science In-Person

Join Don Miller, NASA Solar System Ambassador and discover the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the world’s most advanced space telescope, has been operating beautifully since its launch on Christmas day, 2021.  In 2022, the first images from this space telescope were released to a stunned world.  The quality of the images and the new views into our universe were incredible.  Another year has elapsed since those first images and what have we learned?  Discover the latest images from the JWST and put them into scientific perspective.  What are its images and other data telling us about the universe today and in the past?  Are new questions being raised?   We are living in an exciting new era for astronomy; join us and see why.

Registration will close 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event. Walk-ins welcome.
