Doc of the Month: "Living Undocumented" by Ava DuVernay

Doc of the Month: "Living Undocumented" by Ava DuVernay In-Person

Grab a friend and get ready to learn something new through engaging documentaries at your local library. Each month starting in February we'll be showing a documentary in the library that corresponds with that month's heritage or awareness designation. In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, MPL will be screening Living Undocumented directed by Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman. From the Netflix website:

In 2018, eight undocumented families took the extraordinary risk of allowing film crews to chronicle their lives as they faced potential deportation. Ranging from harrowing to hopeful, their journeys illuminate and humanize the complex US immigration system. From Emmy-winning executive producers Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman, and executive producer Selena Gomez, LIVING UNDOCUMENTED depicts the struggles many must endure in their quest to pursue the American dream.

Registration is required as seats are limited. Questions? Contact Moses Sharpe at msharpe@ccls.org or call the library at 610-644-7259.
