An Introduction to Model Aviation

An Introduction to Model Aviation In-Person

The Chester County Radio Control Club (CCRC) offers an introduction to the hobby of radio controlled aviation and model aeronautics. Learn about the physics of flight, see examples of real flying model aircraft; airplanes of all kinds, jets, helicopters, drones and rockets, gain access to realistic, fun and immersive RC flight simulators, and learn about the club's 50+ year history and mission. CCRC exists to educate the community on these topics and support its member’s pursuit of this exciting, educational, and fulfilling past time. Participants may be surprised to learn how key advances in technology have transformed the hobby and made it more accessible than ever before. The library is a wonderful place to learn about the history of human flight, the physics that make it possible, and the spirit of adventure and exploration that motivates humans to fly. CCRC proposes to complement this with a pathway to a fun and rewarding hobby in a safe and supportive community of like-minded enthusiasts.
