Intro to Minding Your Mind (Pre-K)

Intro to Minding Your Mind (Pre-K) In-Person

IN PERSON

For ages 4 to 6 (FIRM): You might be surprised at the science supporting mindfulness for pre-schoolers and kindergarteners!  In this summer  series, kids will learn some ways to develop their emotional intelligence, how to be kind to themselves and others, how our thoughts and feelings work together, recognize big emotions, and some ways to be thankful.  To do this, we will read some books, role play how to handle hard feelings, try some animal breathing and heartfulness practices, use emojis to draw about our feelings and practice some yoga poses.

You may register for one session or all 4.

Children should be able to participate independently, while parents/caregivers remain in the Children's Department during the program. (if your child is ages 4-6 and has special needs that prohibit them from participating without a parent/caregiver, please email sbragg@ccls.org so we can prepare an accommodation for you).
