DESCRIPTION:This is a DONATION DROP-OFF DAY for the SPRING Clothing Swap 
 happening on Saturday\, 4/18. \n\nThe actual clothing swap will take place 
 on Saturday\, 4/18. Please read below for additional details:\n\n \n\nAre 
 you tired of what's in your closet? Do you want to pick up a few new 
 wardrobe items this Spring but don't feel like it's in the budget? Do you 
 enjoy the thrill of the fashion hunt? Do you love a good thrifted find? Do 
 you hate the idea of fast fashion\, or your old clothes going to the 
 landfill? Are you trying to reduce your environmental footprint?\n\nIf one 
 ore more of the above describes you\, then please join us for our Spring 
 2026 Sustainable Clothing Swap at the Henrietta Hankin Branch Library\, 
 happening on Saturday\, April 18\, from 10 am to 1pm.\n\n \n\nWhy swap 
 instead of shop?\n\n- Swapping is green! It keeps clothing items out of 
 landfills.\n\n- Thrifted clothes are often times so much more 
 interesting!!!\n\n- Swapping is smart\, and good for your wallet! By 
 swapping instead of shopping you are saving money!!! \n\n \n\nHere's how it 
 works:\n\n- Bring in 5 gently-used clothing items to the Customer Service 
 desk during regular library hours from Friday\, April 10 through Friday\, 
 April 17.  \n\n- Receive a ticket for each item that you've donated. In 
 other words\, if you donate 5 items\, you will receive 5 tickets. 3 donated 
 items = 3 tickets\, etc.\n\n- Shop the Swap\, using tickets as payment. 
 Purchase 1 item with 1 ticket. \n\n \n\nFAQs:\n\n- When do I drop off 
 clothing items? On designated donation days listed above.  \n\n- Is there a 
 limit to how many items I may bring? Yes\, because of space constraints we 
 are limiting everyone to drop off a maximum of 5 clothing items plus 1 
 accessory. \n\n- What accessories are acceptable? Hats\, gloves\, scarves\, 
 belts\, purses. Plus\, new this time: shoes and jewelry!\n\n- Can I bring 
 men's clothing? Yes\, the swap is open to men's and women's clothing 
 items.\n\n- Can I bring children's clothing? No\, due to limited space\, we 
 are only accepting adult clothing for this swap.\n\n- Should I care about 
 what season my clothes are? Yes\, we strongly prefer that for our April 
 2026 swap\, that items be Spring and Summer only.\n\n- Will there be a Fall 
 2026 swap? We hope to be able to offer another swap in the Fall of 
 2026.\n\n- Are there any items that should not be donated? Yes\, we will 
 not accept undergarments\, socks\, bathing suits\, slippers\, pajamas\, or 
 robes. Donated items should be clean with no holes or stains. \n\n- Do I 
 have to register for the event? No\, but you will need to have tickets to 
 shop the swap. \n\n- How do I get tickets to shop? You will receive one 
 ticket for each item dropped off on our designated drop off days.\n\n
