SUMMARY:More Than How to Get from A to B: ... DNA Testing by Shannon Combs-Bennett (Main Line Genealogy Club)
DESCRIPTION:Creating a Research Plan with DNA testing. A way to guide our
research thoughtfully to solve our genealogical questions.\n\nWe are taught
in Genealogy 101 to create research plans as part of a genealogist’s
toolbox. Research plans are a way to guide our research thoughtfully and
methodologically to solve our genealogical questions. Most people consider
that with books\, websites\, and paper research. Well\, in the 21st
Century\, that now includes DNA testing. This presentation will demonstrate
how to incorporate genetic genealogy results\, testing strategies\,
analyses\, and proof arguments into your research plans.\n\n\n	Speaker will
be remote on Zoom.\n	To attend In-person or Virtually click the "Reserve a
Spot" button.\n	Early registrants will receive a link to the Zoom meeting
link in an email from MLGC & Mailchimp the day before the event.\n	Last
Minute registrants will see the Zoom link in the confirmations (pop-up and
email) from EventBrite once registration is complete.\n\n\nThis is a hybrid
event\, so you may attend in person at the library or attend via Zoom.
Registration on Main Line Genealogy Club's EventBrite is required.
