SUMMARY:VIRTUAL Author Visit: Janis Daly
DESCRIPTION:Janis Daly\, author of The Unlocked Path\, will share how the
secrets of our past can surprise\, delight\, educate\, and inspire the
writing of a novel. Ms. Daly found her inspiration when she learned that
 her great-great-grandfather\, William S. Peirce\, Esquire\, “took an
active part in founding the Woman’s Medical College in Philadelphia.”
(FamousAmericans.net)\n\nInspired by that line\, more research ensued\, and
a story and characters formed. The early graduates of the Woman’s Medical
College have remained in the shadows. Their stories needed to be told. With
a love of history\, Ms. Daly balanced a need for authenticity and details
with a flair to create emotional connections to fictional
characters.\n\nThis event will be held over Zoom. Please provide a valid
email address when you register and you will recieve a Zoom link via email
two hours before the start of the program.
