Then, one morning her son finds a wounded man in the carriage house and her life takes an unexpected turn.

C.J. McGroarty is a former reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer and a Pushcart Prize nominee with an MFA in creative writing. Her work has appeared in a variety of literary journals and magazines. She is currently at work on her second novel, a supernatural mystery set in the Philadelphia suburbs
