People's Light Performance: Juneteenth in Breath and Body

People's Light Performance: Juneteenth in Breath and Body In-Person

People’s Light teaching artist and theatre maker Monet Debose will guide families to move their bodies, lift their voices, and express strength as we commemorate Juneteenth. Using poetry by Black writers, combined with simple elements of expressive movement and African dance, participants will explore imagery and emotion around the ideas of freedom, pride, and legacy. Bring the whole family!

This event will take place outside at the Burke Park Gazebo
Registration is recommended for reminder emails.
