Virtual: Introduction to Genealogy with Ancestry Library Edition Online

Learn how to use Ancestry - Library Edition and other databases for family research. Get genealogy searching tips, research guidance, & more. Genealogy researcher Mike Sheldon will demonstrate introductory methods used to research a family tree, using Ancestry - Library Edition and FamilySearch.org. Reference Librarian Jamie Claxton will provide a short overview of Ancestry - Library Edition and HeritageQuest. Ancestry- Library Edition can only be accessed inside the library, while HeritageQuest can be used at home.

Registration is required. Registration will close 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event. A Zoom link will be emailed to registrants 2 hours before the program starts.  Make sure to check the email address you registered with to receive the link.  You do not need a Zoom account to attend the virtual program.
