Medicare 101 Presentation Online
If you will be joining the ranks of Medicare soon, are already in the Medicare system and have questions, or you just want to understand what this Federal program is all about, this session is for you. Learn about Medicare Parts A (Hospital Insurance), B (Medical Insurance), C (Medicare Advantage) and D (Drug Coverage); types of health care insurance available in Chester County, including Medigaps aka Medicare Supplement Insurance, Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amounts (IRMAA), benefits available for limited income beneficiaries and things to consider when selecting your medical coverage. There will be time for questions and answers after the presentation. Members of Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight, PA MEDI program, formerly known as APPRISE, Pennsylvania’s SHIP, a statewide program of free, unbiased insurance consultation, will present an overview of Medicare.
