Totally Terrific Tree Discovery In-Person
Join the Delaware Nature Society for a terrificly fun program! Listen to a reading of Diane Muldrow's We Planted a Tree, then discover the mystery and majesty of some of our local leafy friends. Investigate tree anatomy and life cycles and find out about some of the common tress from our region. 'Meet' wildlife from our region and the world who depend on trees for their survival with images, taxidermy, and live animals. Enjoy a tour of the trees around us for a hands-on Adopt a Tree experience with a craft.
This even will be held at Barclay Park, located on the corner of Church and Marshall Street! Please bring blankets, towels, or lawn chairs to sit comfortably on.
Geared toward children in Preschool-4th grade and families!
