Virtual Summer STEM Day: Creating your 3D objects using TinkerCAD (grades 3 and up)

Virtual Summer STEM Day: Creating your 3D objects using TinkerCAD (grades 3 and up) Online

This event is in place of July and August Tinkering Club meetings.  The Tinkering Club meets every last Tuesday of the month to introduce you STEM related topics.

Learn to design your own three dimensional objects!

In this introductory class, you'll learn the basics of 3D CAD principles, using TinkerCAD. This web based program is simple to learn and understand, but the basics you learn here are just as useful in professional 33 CAD software. The software is fun for children but still quite useful for adults too.

Once you finish your first object in the class, we will 3D print it for you! A color of your choice.  You can watch your 3D object to be printed, too!   Also, your next 3D print will be on us. (Your file will be reviewed by JTC staff and materials must be $5 or less)

A Zoom link will be emailed to registrants 2 hours before the program starts. Make sure to check the email address you registered with to receive the link. You do not need a Zoom account to attend the virtual program.

For any questions, please email us at ccljtc@ccls.org.
