The Roaring 20's In-Person
This is a virtual program via Zoom!
Join local historian Jim Segrave-Daly in a virtual discussion about the impact that the 1920's had on America & the world as a reaction to the Progressive Era (1890 - 1920). America emerges from WWI as a global power. The effects of 18th & 19th amendments (Prohibition & Women's Suffrage), industrial growth & urbanization, & the Jazz Age enhanced America's standing in the world. Those effects are still being felt today.
