Saint-SaËNs' Carnival of Animals! In-Person
Join us for a Carnival of Animals, hosted by Svetlana Khmelnitsky! In this fun music class, children will learn what a carnival is and be introduced to classical composer Camille Saint-Saëns. Then, listen to a story about a pianist attending a Carnival of Animals. As children listen to the story, they'll reenact different characters (mostly animals) with the music and play musical games. Later, children will create two animal crafts that they'll be able to play with afterwards.
A note to parents about crafts safety: During the craft portion of the class parental guidance is required to ensure kids’ safety with scissors and other materials.
Miss Clara will contact registrants about a time to pick up the craft kit for this program. Children will also need to have scissors, glue, and markers.
For ages 4-7
Required Registration begins June 18, 2021!
Zoom link will be sent out the day before the program! If you have not received a Zoom link by 9am on 6/25/21, please email Clara (ckelly@ccls.org)
