MEET THE ELEPHANTS - THE HERD

MEET THE ELEPHANTS - THE HERD Online

Calling all elephant lovers! Meet real, live Asian elephants in this second part of a 3-part Zoom series lead by Teachers of Nature.

This week meet the herd. Enjoy a unique opportunity to tour the grounds and meet the various pachyderms who call the Endangered Ark Foundation their home. Watch the elephants enjoying their day. Tour the barns, grounds and fields and ask all your questions along the way.

This series is brought to you by Spring City Public Library and co-hosted by Atglen Public Library, Avon Grove Library, Chester Springs Library, Coatesville Area Public Library, Downingtown Library and Oxford Public Library. Registration is available on any of these Chester County Library's electronic calendars.

A Zoom link will be emailed to participants 2 hours before the event. Please register separately for each part of this 3-part series.

The Endangered Ark Foundation is a private, non-profit organization in southeast Oklahoma, dedicated to ensuring the future of Asian Elephants in North Africa, providing a retirement ranch for circus elephants, and educating the public about this endangered species. The foundation was established in 1993 by Dr. and Isla Miller to help preserve the endangered Asian Elephant species. The Miller Family's EAF elephant herd is one of the largest in the United States.
