Virtual: A Very Chester County Christmas with Westlake Tree Farm and Longwood Gardens Online
Meet 4th generation Christmas tree grower Gary Westlake of Westlake Tree Farms and Jessica Whitehead, senior horticulturalist from Longwood Gardens. Gary and Jessica are teaming up to help you create a truly wonderful Chester County holiday season. Gary will describe what it was like growing up on his family’s 160-acre tree farm in Pottstown and why buying local trees makes a difference. He’ll discuss how to select the perfect tree and how to keep it fresh for as long as possible.
Jessica will be highlighting top decorating tips to help you recreate a little Longwood Gardens magic in your own home. She’ll share behind-the-scenes secrets on how the Longwood pros create their stunning wreaths and statement trees, and suggest materials you’ll need to create your personal masterpieces.
