DEADLINE EXTENDED - Virtual Chester County Library Jack-o-Lantern Contest In-Person
Preschoolers through teens are invited to enter the Chester County Library Virtual Jack-o-Lantern Contest! Get your creative juices flowing and create your scariest, cutest, or craziest jack-o-lantern!
- Preschoolers – Design and decorate your pumpkin with paint, markers, or stickers.
- K to 5 and Teens – Design and carve (or decorate) your own pumpkin. Please carve with adult supervision.
- Everybody – Photograph your jack-o-lantern! Carved jack-o-lanterns should be photographed in dim or dark light so they can really shine!
- Everybody -- Submit one picture of your jack-o-lantern to cclyouthservices@ccls.org and include your name, age, grade, email, and phone number in the email.
- Your jack-o-lanterns will be judged in three age groups – Preschool, K to 5, and Teen – by a panel of judges.
Pleaser register to be a contestant at www.chescolibraries.org – Events – October 23rd, and submit your photos by 6:00 pm on October 28th. Families with multiple children entering their own jack-o-lanterns should register each child individually.
Chester County Virtual Jack-o-Lantern Shows will take place at 7:30 and 8:30 pm on October 30th and every hour on the half hour from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm on October 31st. Please register to view our fabulous jack-o-lanterns!
