This summer, we are hosting a three-part Dungeons and Dragons seminar series for ages 12 to 15.

This beginner friendly program is designed for both new players and young people who may already have experience with D&D.  Participants will learn the basics of the game, create characters, work together as an adventuring party, and take part in a short group adventure.

The seminar series will include:

Saturday, July 11th:  What is Dungeons and Dragons?  

• Players will learn what D&D is, how the game works, the role of players, and what a dungeon master is
• Players will also learn and discuss character concepts, campaign ideas, dice, basic rules, and how a group tells a story together

Saturday, July 25th:  Build a Hero, Build a Party

• Participants will create their own characters and learn how different characters work together as a party
• Participants will focus on creativity, teamwork, role-playing, and building characters who are ready for adventure

Saturday, August 8th:  Play the Adventure

• Participants will use their characters in a guided Dungeons and Dragons adventure
• Participants will explore, solve problems, make choices, and experience a complete table-top role-playing game session

No experience is required to sign up.  Dice and materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you'd like.

Registration is required.  Since this is a three-part series, you will be signing up for all three events when you register.  Once again, this program is for ages 12 to 15.
