Presented by The Museum of the American Revolution

On July 4th, 2026, the Declaration of Independence will celebrate 250 years! But what exactly is this special document that we honor each year on its birthday? Come along with a museum educator to discover what the Declaration is, why it was created, and why the important ideas inside it mattered in 1776—and still do today—through engaging, hands-on activities. Included will be reading a portion of the Declaration of Independence.

For Children ages 6 -12 years with caregivers.
