What's Happening Wednesday: Thrillers; "Night of the Hunter" (1955) In-Person
Sit back in a comfy chair, grab some freshly made popcorn and get ready for a real thrill ride! The Night of the Hunter is a 1955 American Southern Gothic horror-thriller film directed by Charles Laughton and starring Robert Mitchum, Shelley Winters and Lillian Gish. The nail biting plot is about Harry Powell, a serial killer who poses as a preacher and pursues two children in an attempt to get his hands on $10,000 of stolen cash hidden by their late father.
Registration is suggested. Registration will close 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event. Walk-ins are welcome.
