PAWS for Kids - Session 2 In-Person
Do you have a reluctant or struggling reader? Come read to furry friends! This literacy support program hosted by PAWS for People is coming to Kennett Library. The PAWS for Reading program encourages children to read aloud to a therapy pet to improve reading and communication skills.
❗We are now splitting PAWS for Kids into 4 sessions! To ensure every child has one-on-one time with the therapy pets, please pick a 15-minute time slot to register for.
Session One: 6 pm - 6:15 pm
Session Two: 6:15 pm - 6:30 pm
Session Three: 6:30 pm - 6:45 pm
Session Four: 6:45 pm - 7 pm
This program supports Basic Literacy and Health Literacy as defined by the PA Forward Star Program.
Please note: Children under eleven must be under the direct supervision of a responsible caregiver (at least 16 years of age) at all times while on Library premises, pursuant to the Library’s Policy on Unattended Children. Please visit our list of policies here.
