Ever wonder about the local car manufacturing scene in Southeastern Pennsylvania? This lecture will cover the early years of car building in and around the Philadelphia area from the late 1800s to the 1920s.  Enjoy a slide show presentation from the Educator at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles featuring vintage photographs of early automobiles, the factories that produced them, and hear the fascinating stories of those who dreamt of horseless carriages and how they survived (or not!) the challenging years of this new turn-of-the-century technology.
