Night Makers: Sashiko Embroidery In-Person
Enjoy a relaxing evening of stitchery and good company as we use the traditional style of sashiko embroidery to embellish fabric. Whether it be clothing, pillows, hats, bags or a simple art piece, sashiko stitching can add depth and whimsy. We will be working with white/beige sashiko thread so darker fabrics will work best. While we supply a sample fabric, feel free to bring in your own materials and learn this traditional mending technique to bring your item to life!
