sproutSTEM Workshop In-Person

In this hands-on STEM workshop, students will create and test “Dancing Raisins” while learning about living things and gas bubbles! Together, we’ll explore how carbon dioxide bubbles stick to the surface of objects, just like how bubbles can help tiny organisms move in water! Students will predict what will happen when raisins are dropped into fizzy soda, observe the “dance,” and discover how gas can make things move and float

Program is for kids GRADES 3-5 only (FIRM). Registration is required for EACH CHILD.

When you register for an event, we are holding a spot for you. If your schedule changes and you can't attend, please let us know so we can open your spot to someone else.

Per library policy, if a child under the age of eleven (11) is attending a program independently, a parent or caregiver must remain in the building.

Funding for this program is provided by the Friends of Henrietta Hankin Branch Library.
