sproutSTEM Workshop In-Person
In this hands-on STEM workshop, students will design and test paper rockets while learning the science of aerodynamics. Together we'll explore the forces of flight like lift, weight, thrust, and drag, and discover how stability keeps rockets flying straight. Students will build rockets with different fin designs, launch them, and compare how they soar through the air!
Program is for kids GRADES 3-5 only (FIRM). Registration is required for EACH CHILD.
When you register for an event, we are holding a spot for you. If your schedule changes and you can't attend, please let us know so we can open your spot to someone else.
Per library policy, if a child under the age of eleven (11) is attending a program independently, a parent or caregiver must remain in the building.
Funding for this program is provided by the Friends of Henrietta Hankin Branch Library.
