Rosie the Riveter: Home Front Hero of World War II In-Person
Who is Rosie the Riveter? The fact is, she's the mystery girl who represents Every Woman who served on the home front in World War II. That's right! There's not just one Rosie, or three Rosies, but millions of Rosies--young and old--whose outstanding service during WWII in the fight against tyranny and injustice helped to preserve our democratic way of life in America.
Registration is required.
This program fulfills PA Forward's Civic and Social Literacy: "The ability to positively impact the community, engage in respectful discussions, understand civic roles and responsibilities, participate in community activities, and drive positive change."
