NeuroNook (1:30pm-2pm) In-Person

Introducing NeuroNook!

  • What is NeuroNook? NeuroNook is a study room in the Children's Library. To help our neurodiverse friends visit and enjoy our space, NeuroNook is there for when you need a break from exploring. Whether you want some quiet time or want to play with our sensory kits (Mobile Sensory Unit coming soon!), NeuroNook aims to offer a small space to take a moment.
  • Where is NeuroNook? The blue study room on the 2nd floor (accessible by stairs or elevator)
  • When is it available? 2nd and 4th Thursdays, from 1 pm to 4 pm, starting Sept. 11
  • How can I reserve it? Register below. Each time slot is for 30 minutes. For questions, or to book NeuroNook all day for your group, email cwirth@ccls.org

We hope you're ready to browse the shelves, visit our library pets, and check out our Children’s Makerspace! Our librarians can't wait to say hello! We look forward to sharing our space with you!

Look for the new SENSORY-FRIENDLY tag on our calendar to view all sensory-friendly programming (more coming soon!)
