COLOR WHEELS AND PRISMS--Summer Reading Arts Adventures In-Person
Today we will be learning from Miss Erika more about the science part of art--we will be discussing a color wheel. It's a tool used in art and design to understand color theory and create harmonious color schemes. We will learn about primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. We will also learn about light and prisms of light and how and why we see colors the way we do.
This summer, our theme is Color Our World. We will be offering classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes will all be part of STEAM--Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, with a big focus being on the arts for our theme this summer.
All of the classes are intended for all ages--we hope that everyone, adults included, will tap into their creativity and come to the library! Grown-ups, put those phones away!
Registration will be required for the programs, so that we have an approximate number of participants.
