Join Miss Kate and the Uwchlan Garden club's Little Sprout's Program to discover the joy of growing your own salad! 

Join us for a hands-on workshop where students will plant a container garden filled with fresh, delicious, greens, tomatoes and herbs. 

Each participant will receive a garden journal to document their planting journey, track growth, and record their harvest. We encourage students to take photos and videos of their planters along the way. 

THIS PROGRAM WILL BE HELD OUTSIDE IN OUR EXPLORIUM, PLEASE PREPARE AND DRESS APPROPRIATELY. (KEEP IN MIND IT IS A GRASSY AREA WITH LIMITED SHADE)

RAIN DATE FOR THIS PROGRAM IS MAY 20TH 1:30-3:00!

On August 27th, we will be coming back together for a Grow a Salad Program PART 2, to share our experiences, discuss journal entries, and showcase garden progress.

PROGRAM PART 2 DATE: August 27th 1:30-2:30 (Outside in the Explorium)

Participants will have the exciting opportunity to present their findings at the Uwchlan Garden Club Flower Show on September 18-19th. (More details on this to come!)

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. SPOTS ARE LIMITED.

REMEMBER, YOU MUST BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6-14 TO ATTEND THIS PROGRAM!

ALL MATERIALS, SEEDS AND PLANTERS, WILL BE PROVIDED.

If you are placed on the waitlist, please wait for an email that says you have been moved off the waitlist and are now on the registration list before showing up the the program, we have limited supplies and can only have the accurate number of people attend from the registration list.
