Lunch & Learn: Tales of the Mad Prussian (Valley Forge Park Alliance) In-Person
Join us for a riveting historical tale about a restless Prussian soldier—based on Lt. Johann von Krafft's memoirs.
The Valley Forge Park Alliance invites you to a Lunch & Learn featuring Park Ranger David Lawrence as he brings to life the wild and unpredictable adventures of Lt. Johan von Krafft—a restless Prussian soldier who switched sides twice, was arrested and exiled, returned as a privateer, and spent more time dueling his allies than fighting the enemy.
Based on von Krafft's published memoirs, this program offers a fascinating glimpse into the 18th-century military mindset, where personal honor often trumped patriotism, and violence was just part of the job.
Please bring your lunch and curiosity, and join us for this riveting historical tale!
This event is FREE, but registration is REQUIRED. Please register through VFPA's website.
