Young Illustrators In-Person
Tuesdays (July 1, 8, 22, 29; August 5, 12)

Rising grades K-2
We'll create different take-home artwork each week based on various illustrators' work, and learn about the styles they use.
- JULY 1: watercolor resist (inspired by Feronia Parker-Thomas, How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow)
- JULY 8: art markers (inspired by Catherine Pearson, Dragonfly)
- JULY 15: NO CLASS due to special STEAM Week programs
- JULY 22: collage (inspired by Ed Emberley, Chicken Little)
- JULY 29: tempera paint (inspired by Hokusai, The Great Wave: A Children's Book Inspired by Hokusai)
- AUGUST 5: clay (inspired by Felicia Bond, If You Give a Cat a Cookie)
- AUGUST 12: doodles (inspired by Jon Klassen's shapes)
Registrants will receive a reminder email 24-48 hours prior to this program.
