Stories & Smiles: Autism Awareness Read-Aloud & Craft For Everyone! In-Person
Join our friend Jithya Rudraraju, a sophomore at Downingtown East High School for a read-aloud and craft focusing on autism awareness!
Jithya is a passionate volunteer for an autism awareness foundation, and is a strong advocate for autism awareness, inclusion, and empathy.
We will begin with a fun and informative read-aloud of inclusion, friendship, and empathy focused stories, and then transition into craft time. We will be making Kindness Rocks!
Each participant will receive a small rock to paint positive and inclusive messages, and they can then take them and place them around their community to spread kindness and joy.
This program is for children in grades 3-5 ONLY.
**Please be mindful that we will be working with paint, so remember to wear clothes you won't mind getting a little messy!**
