Maximizing Bone Health In-Person
Maximizing Bone Health is a dynamic, one-hour interactive session focused on evidence-based strategies to prevent or slow bone loss. Learn how to support bone strength and resilience through targeted exercises designed to counteract postural changes, promote bone-loading with weight-bearing and muscle-strengthening activities, and enhance balance. While fall prevention is essential, this program goes beyond, empowering you with practical tools to maintain and improve bone health at any stage.
Registration is required.
If you require an accommodation that will facilitate your participation, please fill out the library's request form at least three weeks prior to the program. If you have any questions, please contact Sam at ssorensen@tredyffrinlibraries.org.
This program fulfills PA Forward's Health Literacy: “The ability to make informed decisions about physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual health for yourself and others in your care.”
