Arbo-READ-um Book Club: Part Two In-Person
This book club meets offsite at Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens.
Join us for a three-part book club to read and discuss Soil: The Story of a Black Mother’s Garden by Camille T. Dungy in parts. Attend one part or all of them! Part two will cover pages 121-217. If you’re reading with an eBook or audiobook, please stop wherever seems to suggest completing 2/3 of the book or where is most comfortable.
Registration is required.
If you require an accommodation that will facilitate your participation, please fill out the library's request form at least three weeks prior to the program. If you have any questions, please contact Sam at ssorensen@tredyffrinlibraries.org.
Arbo-READ-um is a summer series born from a partnership between Tredyffrin Public Library and Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens. We work together to provide opportunities to promote literacy, library and arboretum usage, and community conversations through a shared read.
This program fulfills PA Forward's Civic and Social Literacy: "The ability to positively impact the community, engage in respectful discussions, understand civic roles and responsibilities, participate in community activities, and drive positive change."
