The Chester County Library Trust presents Liz Moore, author of The God of the Woods
Wednesday, April 23, 6:00-7:00 PM
Chester County Library, Exton
Event tickets are $36.70 and include a signed edition of The God of the Woods.
Liz Moore is a writer of fiction and creative nonfiction. Liz will discuss her fifth novel, The God of the Woods, which spent 30 weeks on the New York Times best-seller list.
An immersive, propulsive novel about a missing child whose disappearance sends equal shockwaves through three very different worlds—an opulent Adirondack summer estate, the rustic teen summer camp that operates in its shadow, and the blue-collar community that serves them both.
Moore's previous work includes the novels Heft, The Unseen World, and Long Bright River. A limited-series adaptation of Long Bright River—co-created, executive produced, and co-written by Moore, and starring Amanda Seyfried- premiered on Peacock on March 13, 2025.
Liz Moore lives with her family in Philadelphia and is Director of the MFA program in Creative Writing at Temple University.
