New Play Theatrical Club

New Play Theatrical Club In-Person

New Play Theatrical Club meets once a month to read new plays.  Gain an appreciation of the dramatic arts by hearing and reading new plays out loud.  Playwrights and solo artists are welcome to submit their work to be read by the group. NPTC strives to help the playwright with their craft. We will read recently published plays that are considered seminal and works-in-progress by local playwrights. We will also do visual writing exercises to stimulate the creative process

 Guidelines:

NPTC is open to all levels of writers, actors, directors, and dramatic arts lovers.  We are not a class, so feedback is not given during our meetings, we simply lift the writing off the page for the writer to hear and enjoy.

  • Registration includes a copy of the play. Your copy will be held at the front desk for pickup.
