Performed by:
Twelfth grade violinist Miro Raj has been playing for eleven years, beginning at the age of six. Currently, he studies with Mr. Lee Snyder at Settlement Music School, having previously taken lessons with Ms. Andrea Levine. He is also concertmaster of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra and a member of the Braverman Advanced Study String Quartet, which was invited to participate in the Fischoff International Chamber Music Competition. Miro was awarded top prizes in the National Curb Concerto Competition with the Nashville Symphony, the Main Line Symphony, Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra, and Philadelphia International Music Festival concerto competitions. Additionally, he has performed as soloist with the Virginia Beach Symphony, Main Line Symphony, and the Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra. In masterclasses, he has played for award-winning violinists such as Randall Goosby, David Kim, Julliette Kang, Rachel Barton-Pine, and Paul Kantor. Miro has attended many renowned summer festivals, including the Yellow Barn International Young Artist Program, the National Youth Orchestra of the United States (NYO-USA), and the Meadowmount International Music Festival.
Theo Silio is a french horn soloist and orchestral and chamber musician. He has performed with the Juilliard Pre-College Symphony, the Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra, and the Delaware County Youth Orchestra. Mr. Silio is a student in the Juilliard Pre-College Program, where he studies with Javier Gandara, third horn of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. He has also studied with Ernesto Tovar and Frank Stroble. He has participated in the Eastman Summer Horn Institute, as well as the Kinhaven Music School program.
Fifteen-year-old pianist Anwen Deng was born in Brisbane, Australia. She began her piano studies at the age of three and was accepted into the Juilliard School pre-college program at six, becoming the youngest piano student ever accepted. She is currently studying with Dr. Yoheved Kaplinsky. Anwen has received top prizes in numerous piano competitions in Australia, Poland, the USA, and Germany, becoming a 2025 YoungArts winner with distinction. She was invited to perform with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra at the age of ten. Since then, she has performed as a soloist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra, the Little Orchestra Society of New York, the Aspen Chamber Symphony, Orchestra Lumos, and Sarasota Symphony Orchestra. Anwen has also attended renowned international festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival and School and Piano Texas, performing for acclaimed pianists including Arie Vardi, Tamas Ungar, Angela Cheng, and Sa Chen.
