Repotting Workshop

Repotting Workshop In-Person

It's that time of year to repot our houseplant friends! Join us for a workshop led by Jes Springer to learn about plant care, when to repot, and how to get started. This program is suitable for all houseplant experience levels and includes a repotting demonstration and hands-on practice.

A 4" plant, a terracotta pot/saucer, and an instruction pamphlet will be provided for registered participants. Please do not bring your own plants and pots to this program.

Registration is required.

If you require an accommodation that will facilitate your participation, please fill out the library's request form at least three weeks prior to the program. If you have any questions, please contact Sam at ssorensen@tredyffrinlibraries.org.

Jes worked in children’s television as a prop maker for over a decade before deciding to pursue a career in plants. During challenging seasons of life, plants provided Jes with a deep sense of comfort and purpose. She knew she wanted to surround herself with plants and learn as much about them as possible so she spent her time working on a flower farm, helping to manage a plant retailer, and creating a succulent pop-up shop. Perch Plants & Odds & Ends opened its doors in July of 2023 in Phoenixville, PA. Jes strives to make her space a fun, comfortable, and an inspiring environment for the community. Perch hosts free monthly clipping swaps and a variety of other plant-related workshops. The shop aims to be fun and accessible to all levels of plant enthusiasts.
