Kids Only - Winter Sowing Workshop - MOVED to Pickering Valley Feed & Farm Store In-Person
For School-age students in grades 3 - 7 Registration is required

This is a Longwood Community Read Event.
Calling young gardeners. Learn how to start seeds outside in the winter using the Winter Sowing method. We'll be planting certified organic Provider Bush Beans donated to the library by Johnny's Select Seeds for teach gardening skills. Participants will each leave with one winter sowing jug ready to put outside and grow until the seedlings are ready to transplant into a garden or container.
We are very thankful to our friends at Pickering Valley Feed & Farm Store for offering their space to us while the library is damaged.
This is a PA Forward Civic and Social Literacy program - Learning and discussing something with others while at the library.
