Wrapping the World in Colors Art Workshop (Ages 4-8) In-Person
In this program, children will learn about two artists, Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Together, they transformed natural and urban landmarks by wrapping them in fabric, surrounding them with material, and even hanging cloth over them. One of their goals was to make people notice and appreciate the beauty of their everyday environment.
In the second part of the class, kids will create an art project inspired by the ideas of Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
