Banned Book Club

Banned Book Club In-Person

Welcome to the Banned Book Club! Here, we dive into literature that has been challenged or censored for its bold ideas and controversial content. Our goal? To spark meaningful conversations, explore diverse viewpoints, and champion the freedom to read. Together, we'll question societal norms, celebrate literary diversity, and raise awareness about the dangers of censorship. Join us to explore the power of words and the importance of free expression!

This month we will be reading: 'Lord of the Flies' by William Golding to explore the theme of Violence and Crime.

Registration required. For adults ages 18 years and up. This program supports PA Forward Civic and Social Literacy.

When you register for an event, we are holding a spot for you. If your schedule changes and you can’t attend, please let us know so we can open your spot to someone else.
