Single-Use Planet Film Screening In-Person
Join us on Tuesday January 21, from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm at the Downingtown Library, as Kathy Cook of the Chester County Plastic Pollution Taskforce will host a screening of the film Single Use Planet .
This award winning movie, delves into all aspects of the Pennsylvania plastics crisis. Narrator Peter Coyote asks, “How do we keep the benefits that plastic provides, but protect ourselves from the negative impacts?" "Why does plastic waste continue to grow despite so many efforts to reduce it?" The movie will answer these questions and more.
There will be a discussion and question & answer session about single-use plastic bag bans, following the movie.
