Hello Downingtown Library Teens!

We need your help stuffing goodie bags for Downingtown's Good Neighbor Day Christmas Parade!

Downingtown Library has a float in the parade, and we invite our teen volunteers to walk with the float in the parade on Saturday, December 14th and hand out the goodie bags to Downingtown friends!

The first half of this event will be a training. We will go over rules, dress code, and expectations for the day of the parade, and also answer some FAQ's from parents/caregivers if they wish to stay. 

Some common questions we will answer:

Where do I park to drop off my child?

Are there bathrooms available along the parade route?

Where do I pick my child up after the parade is over?

And any other questions you may have!

The second half of the event will be stuffing the goodie bags.

This training & goodie bag stuffing volunteer opportunity is offered on 11/26 OR 12/2 -- you only need to register and attend ONE of these dates to be able to volunteer for the parade.

Registrations is required. 

Please only register if you are in 9th-12th grade.
