WATER/ROOTS: Brandywine Creek Greenway | Environmental Lecture Series

WATER/ROOTS: Brandywine Creek Greenway | Environmental Lecture Series In-Person

WATER/ROOTS is Kennett Library’s Environmental Lecture Series theme for 2025. We will investigate aspects of water in our daily lives and beyond. Invited speakers will share innovative research, creative educational programs, solutions to establish healthy watersheds, as well as explore our deeper relationship with water.

Join us on November 18th at 7 pm in the auditorium for a lecture with Elena Hadley, Brandywine Creek Greenway Lead Planner. Learn about ongoing projects to create a 40-mile-long conservation and recreation corridor along both branches of the Brandywine that stretches from the Christina River in the City of Wilmington to the Pennsylvania Highlands in Honey Brook Township.

This program supports Environmental Literacy as defined by Kennett Library and inspired by PA Forward.
