ChesCo Human Needs Network In-Person
As part of Chester County’s Human Needs Network, Chester County's Department of Human Services has now deployed their Information & Referral Mobile Navigators. These individuals will operate out in the community as an extension of PA211 and the Department of Human Services' contact Call Center. They will be able to conduct the same intake and issue referrals in the field that someone would receive from calling into PA211. The goal is to improve the county’s efforts in supporting individuals and families in identifying and accessing the correct services.
The mobile team is able to help persons in need in real time, face-to-face, with anything from getting connected to resources to filling out applications (Medical Assistance Benefits, Housing Authority, PA Compass) or connecting them to housing assistance.
Walk-ins welcome. No registration required. Henrietta Hankin Branch Library supports PA Forward Financial, Civic and Social Literacy.
