Connect Tuesdays: Safe Harbor of Chester County In-Person
Safe Harbor of Chester County will be onsite from 10:00 am-12:00 pm to share information about their services and answer your questions. Drop in only, no appointments accepted.
For more than 25 years, the mission of Safe Harbor has been to provide emergency housing, food, and access to support services. Safe Harbor offers:
- Clean bed, laundry, shower facilities, clothing and personal hygiene supplies in a safe, clean and stable environment.
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided every day for shelter residents.
- On-site counseling and case management services for residents.
- Collaboration with other human services agencies including: job training referral and employment placement; weekly life skills training (i.e. conflict resolution, banking/budgeting, etc.); and access to health, financial, and legal aid services.
- Lunch for 50-60 low and no income men, women, and children from the community 6 days each week, 11:30am until 12:30pm.
About Connect Tuesdays
Each Tuesday of the month, the Chester County Library hosts a service organization in the lobby to help you discover local aid and resources. No reservation required.
1st Tuesday: Housing
A different organization each month will be on-site to discuss their various programs for low-income, homeless, and at risk individuals looking for housing.
2nd Tuesday: Employment
Chat with a representative from CareerLink from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
3rd Tuesday: Miscellaneous
Meet organizations from varying sectors including food security, health, mental health, legal aid, and more.
4th Tuesday: Rep. Kristine Howard's Mobile Office
Get a SEPTA Senior Key Card and find assistance with government-related issues.
