Kennett Library's Winter Warmth Holiday Concert In-Person
Celebrate the season across cultures & languages during Kennett Library's Winter Warmth Holiday Concert!

We'll be featuring various local choirs, songs, readings, and performances.

Before the start of the event, join Margaret Winslow, head curator and curator of contemporary art at the Delaware Art Museum for a wool spinning demonstration on both a spinning wheel and drop spindle. Admire the hand knitted decor, a warm gift from the community knitters of the Knit Knook and the Yarn Addicts. All knitted outwear will be donated to our community through Mighty Writers.
The performances begin 6:30pm and features:
- Classical performance by Kennett Symphony
- Bilingual community sign-along led by the members of all 3 french speaking programs of the library
- Solo singing performance of spanish holiday classic by Casa Guanajuato
- Hindou dance performance
- Winter Story telling by the Lenape tribe
- Seasonal Medley by Pianist Wayne H. Carr's personal arrangements
- Performance by KATS of extracts of their upcoming Panto
- Choir ensemble performance by PCKS
- Multilingual holiday readings in various languages
