Pennsylvania Research Repositories (Main Line Genealogy Club) In-Person

Pennsylvania has amazing genealogical and historical resources. Are you taking full advantage of all repositories, libraries, and collections in this state? Sydney F. Cruice, a professional genealogist, will show you how to find them and maximize their collections and genealogical assets.

Registration is required. This is a hybrid event, so you may attend in person at the library or attend via Zoom. Register on Main Line Genealogy Club's EventBrite.


Sydney F. Cruice is a professional genealogy researcher, writer, teacher, and international lecturer with over 25 years of experience. She has lectured at many institutes and conferences including: SLIG, IGHR, IAJGS, IGGP, RFIPA. For over seven years she developed the curriculum and taught the Foundation of Genealogy courses at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. She also served as the President of the Association of Professional Genealogists for the Greater Philadelphia Area Chapter for the past 6 years. Sydney has a BA from Pennsylvania State University and MBA from Drexel University.

This program fulfills PA Forward's Information Literacy through "having the ability to express, connect with and understand knowledge and communication through comprehensive and innovative formats; the ability to distinguish between credible and non-credible sources; recognizing when information is needed to further oneself, an objective or a project."
